Director of Traditional Music and Worship Arts

Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, located in Midlothian, Virginia, is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) salaried Director of Traditional Music and Worship Arts. This professional staff member serves as an integral part of the church’s worship design, planning, and implementation team. The Director works closely with the Lead Pastor and the church’s Worship Branch to provide a unified and positive worship experience to the congregation. The Director is principally responsible for directing and coordinating the traditional music programs by and for adults, youth, and children. Based on qualifications, the duties of the Director may include providing musical accompaniment on organ and piano with commensurate compensation. Based on proficiency, we may consider applicants for separate “Director” and “Accompanist” with commensurate part-time positions and compensation.
